A: Auto Answer is a mechanism used by Telephone Answering and Call Center Services to place an incoming call into a queue until it can be processed by an available agent. The auto answer will allow the call to be rapidly “answered” by an automated attendant so that the dialing customer will feel that they are being handled in a timely fashion. Queues can then provide the caller with information pertinent to their call or simple music on hold.
